The greatest value for us is the family, and parents are the most important factor in the life of every child – to grow up healthy, happy and loved. By supporting families in caring for their children, we give them confidence and secutiry to be the best example for their boys and girls. We stand by the families in difficult and lonely moments and celebrate together the satisfaction and success of one of the most important missions in life – to be a parent.

Financial difficulties, lack of employment and supportive environment, as well as the presence of disabilities or developmental difficulties are among the most common reasons for abandoning children in Bulgaria. In our country, nearly 1,000 children are still abandoned every year. Our teams work to prevent abandonment from the maternity wards, responding to signals from hospitals in Sofia and Plovdiv.

We know how important every minute of a mother’s decision to separate with her baby is. That is why we provide psychological and social assistance in the first hours after birth, gradually beginning to upgrade parenting skills to create a calm and supportive family environment.

In 2020, we saved 299 babies and young children from separation from their families. Again, for each individual case we combine the efforts and expertise of the various specialists from our Early Childhood Development Complex. We are armed with the necessary skills and material packages to lend a hand to parents in crisis, to single mothers who give birth to their children in fear and uncertainty about the future. We know how difficult it is to be a parent, so we are ready to work together to build a solid foundation of conscious parenting for a brighter future for our children.
