For Our Children Foundation will hold its biggest charity event – Evening of the Virtues, on 31 October at 7:30 pm at Sofia Event Center. For the 13th time the evening will bring together nearly 300 guests from the diplomatic, cultural and business circles, united around the common cause of supporting early childhood development.

Evening of Virtues “Guardians of Childhood” will take place under the patronage of H.E. Rob Dixon, British Ambassador to Bulgaria.

For 30 years, the Foundation has been providing comprehensive support to young children and their families through its activities and services in Sofia and Plovdiv. Since its establishment, the organization has supported over 20,000 vulnerable children and their families. Over the years For Our Children has managed to build spaces where it sees smiling and happy children, confident and calm parents. Spaces where the organization’s professionals know they are helping the ones in need, and where do-gooders recognize its mission – to create an environment for every child at an early age to develop their potential.

The funds donated at the event over the past 13 years have helped the Foundation develop foster care, establish the Children’s House service as a safe place and a family home, develop and build on opportunities to support not only at-risk children and their families, but also to address and support parents to give their children a strong start in early childhood.

The event’s programme will give guests the opportunity to experience in a unique way the real lives of children and families changed by the support of the Foundation. Traditionally, it will also include an artistic program featuring popular Bulgarian artists who stand for the cause of the Foundation. The hosts of the event will be actress Vesela Babinova and actor Zladimir Zombori, and on stage guest will enjoy Michaela Fileva, Hasan and Ibrahim Ignatovi, Valeria Stoyanova, Junior Band and the young artists from XS Artists music school.

The highlight of the evening will be the traditional charity auction, during which guests will have the chance to donate to the cause by bidding on valuable items and experiences provided by supporters of the foundation.

100% of all funds raised during the event will be invested in the Foundation’s programs, which will support more than 2,500 children and families through 2023.
