With funding from the European Union under the Operational Program “Human Resources Development”, co-financed by the European Social Fund, amounting to BGN 199,994.17, the Foundation “For Our Children” implements the project “Initiative for Development and Social Inclusion – for our children “On the territory of 8 municipalities in Plovdiv district.

Objectives:

The main goal of the project is to improve the system of services for active social inclusion of children at risk and their families by opening integrated and coordinated cross-sectoral services.

Activities:

❖ Conducting public events and activities to inform stakeholders about the opportunities for active social inclusion of children at risk and their families;

❖ Opening of the program “Individual assessment and orientation to socially integrated services”;

❖ Opening of a program “Consultative and therapeutic support” for children;

❖ Opening of the program “Support for development and socialization” for children.

Expected results:

❖ Engaged a wide range of stakeholders in an active position in finding the most appropriate mechanisms for interaction and providing comprehensive and coordinated support to vulnerable families in the community;

❖ Established system for coordination between service providers and state institutions, as well as a comprehensive program for informing, individual assessment and directing families to use support services according to the identified needs of the children from the target group;

❖ Revealed comprehensive services to support early childhood development and direct support to children with developmental disabilities or disabilities and their families;

❖ Revealed services to support the individual learning and social integration of children from the target group, as well as assistance to local structures for the creation of programs for development and socialization.

Where it is performed: The municipalities of Plovdiv, Maritsa, Sadovo, Kuklen, Rodopi, Perushtitsa, Stamboliyski and the town of Asenovgrad
