“Advocacy and Projects” Senior Expert
Responsibilities:
✓ Participates in the development, planning and implementation of the programs and activities of the organization for advocacy and influence on policies for children and families and early childhood development;
✓ Prepares opinions and positions of the organization on current topics;
✓ Attracts the support of key stakeholders, in line with the goals of advocacy;
✓ Participates in attracting funds for project activities and fundraising through institutional donors;
✓ Coordinates processes of planning and implementation of projects aimed at guaranteeing children’s rights and improving children’s well-being.
✓ Develops information materials on topics on which the organization has expertise and which is based on evidence;
✓ Represents the organization in certain formats for influencing the policy directly, or promotes the participation of the organization in the person of another member of the team by ensuring the achievement of the goals of the advocacy program;
✓ Actively contributes to the management of the organization’s relations with various formal and informal networks and associations, so that this partnership is in favor of the organization to achieve its strategic goals;
✓ Implements monitoring and reporting of certain project activities in sync with the existing rules and policies of the foundation and the requirements of donors.
Requirements and necessary competencies:
✓ Higher education in the field of Humanities or Social Sciences;
✓ Excellent command of English;
✓ Experience in advocacy in the non-governmental sector;
✓ Knowledge of the processes of monitoring, evaluation and analysis of national policies and legislation, especially in the social sphere;
✓ Experience in preparing project proposals;
✓ Experience in coordinating project activities.
